If children want to stay for the full day, simply book your child into the 2 x half-day workshops and we’ll take care of them during the break. Alternatively, parents and guardians can sign their child out for the lunch break and sign them back in for the afternoon workshop.

These holiday program workshops sell out quickly – get in early to ensure that you don’t miss out!

NB: No peanuts allowed on-site.

A parent or guardian is required to sign the child in upon arrival and then sign them out when picking them up after the workshop. Refunds may be available if the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

October Holiday Science Programs @ South Eveleigh

Robotics - 30 September AM

Learn how to program our awesome robots using easy to use step-by-step coding. For our littlest coders, they will use manual coding, hands-on code building experiments and much more to explore the way robots work. For our older kids, it’s all about drag and drop programming using block code to programme our EV3 lego robots! There will be all sorts of challenges as we make code come alive with patterns, adventures and even a robot bowling challenge!

Monday, 30 September, 9:00am to 12:00pm

Robotics - 30 September PM

Once the step-by-step coding has been mastered from the morning session, kids will use the range of sensors on our robots for a real challenge! Colours, touch and even reflections can be used to make your robot almost human! What will it do next? Only you can decide. There will be all sorts of challenges as we make code come alive with patterns, adventures and a robot dance party!

Monday, 30 September, 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Chemical Concoctions - 1 October AM

We’re going to explore what happens when stuff gets mixed together in this exciting program all about chemistry. Explore chemical and physical changes, the science behind acid rain, the chemistry of fireworks, how things glow and more! See super cool chemistry experiments and then conduct heaps of your own – all using ingredients that you can find in the pantry at home!

*Due to popular demand Chemical Concoctions will run for a full day each week. The program delivered will be the same on both days, so if children are attending more than one of our events, please be sure to book a different program to avoid duplication.

Tuesday, October 1, 9:00am to 12:00pm

Chemical Concoctions - 1 October PM

It’s super exciting science as we dive into some crazy chemistry. Learn how fireworks work, things burn, how things glow and more! See super cool chemistry experiments and then conduct a range of your own! There is no better way to have fun than getting your hands messy. And you might just learn a thing or two!

The Gross Human Body - 2 October AM

Eeeeewwww! Explore all things gross and gooey in the name of science.

Investigate the awesome human body, what we are made of and how we work. Let’s make some bodily functions like fake snot, vile vomit bombs, realistic bleeding wounds and more. Not for the faint-hearted… but so much fun! Don’t forget to wear old clothes as you will be getting dirty.

Wednesday, October 2, 9:00am to 12:00pm

The Gross Human Body - 2 October PM

Our bodies do amazing things! But how? Learn all about blood, our heart and lungs. And how we might need these for sports and being active kids. Investigate the body and nutrition with fun activities that will get your mind racing and your blood pumping. We even learn about injuries, practice treating them and make some gross realistic fake wounds!

Wednesday, October 2, 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Create a Buzz - 3 October AM
